External Auxiliary SectionsĮxternal auxiliary sections either introduce a piece/section ( prefix) or follow the generic conclusion of the piece or section ( suffix). These sections are called auxiliary sections, and there are two general categories: external and connective. In addition to the core sections of a work, other sections may introduce, follow, or come between these core sections.
